Welcome to the "Bagel Buzz", your go-to source for all things bagel! In this edition, we'll look at January's best bagel stories, new and exciting bagel entertainment ventures, and what's coming up this week!

National Bagel Day was January 15th, and it was a great opportunity to pay homage at the inaugural BagelFest Winter Games and.at bagel shops throughout the country. But the fun doesn't stop there! National Bagel & Lox Day is on Thursday, February 9th (why these two "National Days" are spaced so close together .will forever remain a mystery...who decides these things anyways?!), and there's plenty more opportunity to celebrate!

On February 9th, Acme Smoked Fish x Utopia Bagels will be giving away 200 SUPER NOVA SANDWICHES at 8am in the Bryant Park neighborhood.

The bagel & lox party keeps going at Acme’s Fish Friday in Greenpoint on February 10th, where Utopia and Acme will be crafting .THREE special bagels to give away 250 sandwiches from the Utopia food truck - and at which your humble newsletter author will be.doing an Instagram Takeover of the Acme Instagram account.
